It’s taken fifteen issues, but we’ve finally got a dangerous alien species on planet Earth! It’s not an invasion per se, really more of a “dangerous animals accidentally transported by pornstar scientists”; a tale as old as time, I’m sure you’d agree.

The *checks notes* Fuck Turkeys, were being kept in pens back on Pahthep and where just about to be fed Doug and Annie until the other XXX-Plorers rescued them (and doomed the earth in the process). The adorable little nightmares essentially eat and reproduce at breakneck speed, which is what makes them so dangerous.

Splitting up the XXX-ploreres for the majority of this arc is a really great choice by the creative team, it’s allowed for more of a focus on Annie and Doug than we’ve seen up until this point, but doesn’t give us any less of Bree, Chris and Omar. It’s also given enough space to introduce and develop the XXX-XXX-plorers as characters. Moreover, the space between the characters pays off well in this issue when they’re all brought back together.

This has been a really fun arc of Money Shot, but it hasn’t always felt as sure of where it’s heading as the two previous arcs. However, I’m pleased to say all of the ideas from the last few issues come together here in a way that really works. I’ll admit I was surprised how well everything tied together in this issue and it immediately made me want to read through the issues in this arc again, though, let’s face it, that was probably going to happen anyway.
