If you love Star Trek then this trade is for you. It’s visually appealing with solid lettering and a fun plot with humour, heart and references. Anyone who enjoys Lower Decks will enjoy this as it does feel like another episode, a bonus one if you will
This is a solid introduction to the comic book world spin off of a popular animated show from the 90’s. The sun may have set on the old canon but that just means the new can break out of the stone sleep and try something new. Judging from this it should be good.

The big question is does this final issue both live up expectations and end satisfyingly? It does indeed! It’s also crammed full of the usual references to all things Trek, plenty of humour, actual illusions to science and Boimler in a cape. There’s also action, space battles and computer hacking sentient holograms. Phew.
