This is the finale of Garmadon’s adventure in Two Moon village. It has everything I’ve come to love about this series; the theme of redemption, action, bears, people pulling together, bongo playing! It’s packed full of all those things and it’s a really great issue.
“This issue took me by surprise with how deep and interesting it is. I never thought I’d see a villain origin story retold with this much interest and depth in a Lego comic but here we are.”
“It feels like the world of Stillwater is about to get a serious shakeup.”
This week Will and Zach are teaming up to discuss the first volume of A Righteous Thirst For Vengeance by Rick Remender, André Lima Araújo, Chris O’Halloran and Rus Wooton from Image Comics!
“If you like Stillwater this little anthology will whet your appetite. This issue expands Stillwater out, gives life to more hidden corners. It’s a satisfying little detour and I enjoyed it.”
“This issue is a real game changer as we approach the climax, more than anything that’s come before.”
“This book looks stunning. The way that action is depicted feels kinetic and believable, and the various designs of the characters introduced so far appear real and individual.”
“The plot begins to thicken here as it becomes clear that our character has more insight into the brutal deaths from the previous issue, than we were led to believe.”
“The small, clearly expensive house, sitting solitarily in the woods, is the sight of a horrific crime scene, the two occupants having been brutally tortured and murdered.”
“This issue has some really good character work paired with really good character art.”
“This issue really pushes the story along and provides a slightly new direction to travel in.”
“Mid-way through this arc there are some serious plot changes afoot.”
“Some people want to be in Stillwater because they want to live forever. Tanya just wants to live and that makes her stand out.”
“This is an excellent start to the second arc and it’s great to be back in Stillwater.”
“…immortality means there’s a lot to play for and several characters are determined to do whatever they must to keep this Eden as it is.”
