This is the finale of Garmadon’s adventure in Two Moon village. It has everything I’ve come to love about this series; the theme of redemption, action, bears, people pulling together, bongo playing! It’s packed full of all those things and it’s a really great issue.
“This issue took me by surprise with how deep and interesting it is. I never thought I’d see a villain origin story retold with this much interest and depth in a Lego comic but here we are.”
This was a very solid third issue, bringing in a superior foe for Garmadon as well as introducing more of his past.

“I didn’t expect to love this book like I did. Yes, it is a Lego kid’s book, but I had a great time reading it. The world of Ninjago had a lot to offer me the adult reader but I am sure kids will love it just as much.”
