Witchblood #6 brings together a few threads and answers a couple of questions whilst posing several more.
We finally get a partial Yonna origin story. She speaks what appears to be Gaelic in one panel – I’m sure they’ll give us more info further down the line because there are QUESTIONS.
Our odd trio finally catch up with the Hounds of Love, only to be interrupted by a mad lass riding a giant bat who wants to kill everyone involved. Paradisa, the mad lass in question, lives in a city in the sky and has lots of people in glass tubes, and that’s a whole business we’re just going to have to wait on.
The Hounds use one of the artefacts to open a portal through which everyone goes, and we meet Esme. Esme is remarkably chill about vampires snacking on her, and again there are QUESTIONS.
SO MANY QUESTIONS.
Witchblood continues to be intriguing.
