Barney and Norma spend their days working in a theme park haunted house, and their nights dealing with the fact that said haunted house is actually haunted. Doubling as a portal to hell, Dead End is forever being passed through by demons, ghosts and time travelling wizards.
From the always entertaining Hamish Steele, Deadendia: The Watcher’s Test is the first instalment in what is shaping up to be a Deadendia trilogy. It’s a great start to Barney and co’s story, loaded with positive representation, relatable characters and a heartfelt story atop an offbeat comedy/horror backdrop that makes for a truly enjoyable read.
